BACKGROUND

The objective of this project was to choose a brand that is not known in the category of power tools, that does something different, and create a new look for it. 

Mrs. Meyers is a brand known for its home cleaning products in the USA which are made with plant-derived ingredients, essential oils, and another thoughtfully formulated ingredient

APPROACH

I chose Mrs. Meyers to create a new line of power tools specifically designed for women which are easy to use, light in weight, and have soft-grip handles that perfectly fit smaller hands.

I chose a design that was inspired by the 80’s retro style because the ’80s was a start to women being given more equal opportunities like men whether it was striding in their continued education or their advancement in political power.
